Mikah offers personalised nutrition assessments and medical nutrition therapy for clients that are experiencing a wide range of nutrition concerns, including (but not limited to):

Mikah offers consultations via face-to-face appointment in Bowen, or telehealth (nationwide).

Fees
60 Minute Initial Consultation: $160 per hour
30 Minute Review: $80 ($160 per hour)
Concession*
60 Minute Initial Consultation: $120 per hour
20 Minute Review: Bulk Billed
NDIS fees are as per the NDIS pricing arrangements.

Funding and rebates
Medicare Rebates
You may be eligible for up to 5 Medicare rebates of $61.80 within a 12 month period, through a Chronic Disease Management Plan. Speak to your GP about this option.
NDIS
Mikah is able to see NDIS participants that are self or plan managed, providing dietetic services align with the participant’s goals. If you are unsure, please check with your Local Area Coordinator (LAC).
Private Health Insurance
Most private health funds cover visits to APDs in private practice.

Department
Veterans' Affairs (DVA)
The Department of Veterans' Affairs may cover the costs to see an APD if you have an assessed clinical need and a:
- Veteran Gold Card
- Veteran White Card and your treatment is for an accepted service-related condition
